We schedule your baby's first well-child visit within 2–3 days of hospital discharge, so any early concerns get caught quickly and your baby's growth is tracked from the very start.

What to bring to that first appointment:

• Hospital paperwork, including hearing screen results and immunization records
• Available insurance information
• Diapers and an extra set of clothes
• Completed new patient forms, filled out in advance if possible

If you'd rather get ahead of it, you're welcome to call our office a few weeks before your due date — this optional step lets you ask questions and get familiar with the practice before your baby arrives. From there, we'll follow your baby's growth with regular well-child visits and immunizations on the schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
